FREE Furnace For Someone In Need

As part of our 12 Days of Giving, J&D Heating, Cooling & Water is going to give away a new high-efficiency furnace (including all parts and labor to complete the installation) to someone in need. Our community in the Treasure Valley means so much to us and Giving the Gift of Heat is one of our ways to give back. Our hope is to provide warmth to someone’s home for many winters to come.

Giving back to the community that we live, work, and play in has always been a goal for J&D Heating, Cooling & Water. The community within the Ada and Canyon County areas has always blessed and supported us, so we wanted to GO BIG and give away a heating system!

The winning nomination will be selected based on need, the nominee’s story, and the resources available.

To Nominate a Family:

Please complete the nomination form below. We encourage you to provide as much detail as possible. The more we know about each nominee and their story, the better we can make the decisions on which family we’re best equipped to support.

To qualify, the nominated individual/family must meet the following criteria:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Own their home
  • Live within Ada or Canyon County
  • Nominee’s furnace must be a minimum of 10 years old (manufacturered before 2016).
  • Nominee must provide J&D Heating, Cooling & Water access to their home to evaluate their system to ensure qualifications are met.
  • Nominee must be willing to sign a release and allow for publicity.
  • Nominations can be submitted between November 5, 2025 and December 20, 2025, at 11:59 pm.
  • Employees of J&D Heating, Cooling & Water and their family members are not eligible to nominate or be nominated.

If the selected nominee does not meet the requirements stated above, a secondary prize of a FREE furnace tune-up and safety inspection will be awarded, and another nomination will be selected.

Nominator Eligibility:

Must be 18 years of age to nominate a family. Nominator or their family cannot be employed by J&D Heating, Cooling & Water. No purchase necessary.

As stated above, nominees must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older at the time of nomination and must own the home located within Ada or Canyon County. The age of the existing system in the address indicated for the nominee must be a minimum of 10 years old (manufacturered before 2016). Nominee or their family cannot be employed by J&D Heating, Cooling & Water.

Nominations will be accepted between November 5, 2025, and December 20, 2025. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.

One winner will receive:

  • A new forced air furnace system (approx. value $7,500)
  • A new thermostat
  • Any necessary permits, ductwork, electrical upgrades, and additional accessories required to properly install the system to meet manufacturer requirements.
  • J&D Heating, Cooling & Water shall provide all labor required to remove the old system (recycle it) and install the new system.

The winner will be selected from valid submitted nominations on or before 12-20-25 by J&D Heating, Cooling & Water owner and assigned management team. All decisions are final.

The winner will be notified by phone on December 22, 2025, and must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond, an alternate winner may be selected.

The winner must allow representatives in their home to verify qualifications are met before final award is made. If for any reason the selected nomination does not qualify a new nominee will be selected and a furnace tune-up and safety inspection will be completed in its place.

Installation must be completed by 2-28-2026.

All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Required documentation will be supplied by J&D Heating, Cooling & Water on the final day of the installation.

J&D Heating, Cooling & Water reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if any fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway.

By participating, entrants and nominees agree to release and hold harmless J&D Heating, Cooling & Water from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation or receipt of the prize.
